Bought the 2012 Toyota Prius V used in 2018 used with 29,000 miles trading my in very good shape160K mile 2008 Prius for it. Have done all my own oil & transmission fluid changes with 8K oil & trany changes at 90K & 150K. Coolant change once at 125K. Now has 165K, uses no oil in between changes, runs & drives same as the day I bought it. Changed headlights to LED. Everything works 100% & has cost me zero dollars in repairs. Driving conservatively it averages 45 MPG at 55 MPH. Took the back seats out & built a bed frame for sleeping. When my 02 Ford E-150 breaks down I stuff the Prius with HVAC equipment until the van gets fixed. Was cheap to buy (used), cheap to insure, GREAT MPG, doesn't break down, & is still running great as a 14 year old vehicle. Too bad they're not making it anymore.

I was looking for a hybrid vehicle, I bought a used 2012 Toyota Prius V. Comparing, mileage, price, and vehicle history helped me make my choice though it is 15 years old it has been a huge link in technology for me. I look forward to taking our first road trip.
