    • Excellent Value in Seltos

I drive 300 to 400 miles per week, often over mountain passes. With studded winter tires this car is amazing on ice and snow. MPG ranges from 30 to 35 might. Sporty look and feel. I love my car!

Commuter car and drives well in all weather! Have always got better than the sticker gas mileage, will buy another.
    • Transmission was horrible

I bought it 3/21 brand new. Noticed it would not shift to 8th gear unless I used manual mode. Would not go higher than 5th no matter if it was hwy/interstate driving. Took it in and they claimed nothing was wrong with it. The info/backup cam screen. Did not work 2 different times in the last month of ownership. Then when I played music from the USB thumb drives I could hit a bump and it go off, hit second bump and it come back on. Also had to replace the Kumho tires with Michelin tires because the tire/road noise was so bad and also there is no noise dampening material in the vehicle so we removed spare tire and Jack and lined with rubber and made it a little quieter. Never got to remove seats and door panels to line that area. Before trading I drove the new 2023 Sportage X-line just like the one on the Kia commercials(the one where the guy is raking the beach cleaning it). And it was very quiet compared to the Seltos, so I have not gave up on Kia yet. I am sure if I had pulled everything out and lined it I could have lived with it longer.
